About Francom

Francom is a nationally recognised, values‑driven organisation that exists to help people regain financial control when systems have become unfair, complex or overwhelming. We operate in moments of imbalance—where power, information or options are uneven—and apply discipline, integrity and sound judgement to achieve outcomes that are lawful, sustainable and humane.

Guided by our core values — Leadership, Integrity, Excellence, Balance and Nurturing (LIEBN) — Francom operates with accountability, care and purpose. Technology at Francom directly enables these values. Our systems must be secure, resilient, compliant and dependable—because the people we support rely on them at critical moments.

Role Purpose

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Enterprise Services designs, deploys and operates Francom’s cloud and on-prem infrastructure and systems to ensure a performant, secure and reliable digital experience for all of the Group’s customers, clients and employees.

You will act as a key subject matter expert in cloud, infrastructure, systems and operations and provide leadership in everyday delivery in these domains – along with thought leadership to help shape the roadmap. Combining your systems thinking with strong hands-on skills – you will take the lead in cloud transformation, cloud migration, finops and modern digital cloud operations. Using your expertise in cloud security, infrastructure as code, software engineering practices and secure coding you’ll improve cloud practices and a security-focused devops culture across the Technology group.

The role combines hands‑on engineering with proactive improvement—uplifting systems, maturing operational practices, embedding cloud capabilities, and ensuring alignment with ISO 27001 expectations for control, continuity and security. This is a transformation‑focused role with opportunities to contribute to system rationalisation, cloud integration and AI implementation projects.
