About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Executive Assistant / Accountant Executive to support senior leadership while managing core financial and operational functions across multiple businesses.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is confident managing trust accounting, payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, and senior‑level administrative support. You will work closely with directors and key stakeholders, supporting both personal and company financial matters.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial and executive support across a portfolio of businesses, including:
- Executive support to senior leadership, including financial and administrative coordination
- Trust accounting, including reconciliations and compliance requirements in the legal services industry
- Payroll processing and invoicing for multiple entities, including:
- Restaurant
- Café
- Childcare
- Preparation and management of personal and company BAS and income tax matters
- Bank reconciliations and financial reporting using Xero
- Managing personal and company bank payments
- Accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, and reconciliations
- Liaising with external accountants, bookkeepers, and advisors as required
- Supporting operational and financial setup for new businesses
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven experience in an Executive Assistant, Accountant Executive, or senior finance/admin role
- Strong knowledge of payroll, invoicing, reconciliations, and BAS
- Demonstrated trust accounting experience (legal or professional services highly regarded)
- High level of proficiency in Xero
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple entities and competing priorities simultaneously
- High levels of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
